I began researching my family history over 18 years ago and have acquired much family history and met many internet cousins. Besides the family research, I have written two family cookbooks, written several family booklets of stories about my mothers life growing up on a Southern farm, stories on my life, and my children and our family. I love to write. I have had an article published caled Heirloom recipes. Recipes of old, were handed down from mother to daughter, as my mother once told me, "my mother probably never even knew what a recipes was, she just knew how to cook." And that is so true of our grandmother's - so you need to write down their recipes before they are lost. My husband's family loved the family cookbook and I even had request from their friends for a copy.
