Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for lighting for a Christmas Family Portrait? I would really like to have some idea as to what type of lighting to use in a home setting to light in front of the tree. How to assemble the subjects and where and what type of lights to use. If I shoot in digital, won't it be necessary to purchase portable studio lights. But, on the other hand if I shoot 35mm; I can use the correct film for incondesant lighting and the proper filter.
