I am a crafter, artist, designer, and mess maker. A self proclaimed Technique Freak, I love pushing things to the limit and beyond. For the last few years I have been working with creative printing and scanning techniques, using them for artistic and practical purposes. While working in the creative industry I have worn many hats. I have been published in many magazines (articles/projects), been a creative marketing director for an artist canvas company, founded and edited a magazine about creative uses for technology and even worked a few HP booths (craft trade shows). Currently I am freelancing and having a blast just playing around and coming up with new ideas. I have two teens whose school projects have inspired me to work on some creative curriculum projects/lesson plans. I believe with the right tools and supplies, anyone can be creative. In addition to project based creativity, I also work with practical creativity. Practical creativity involves using creative supplies for non creative projects such as organizational tools. (Let's see, how many more times can I use the words "creative" and "creativity".....there just aren't any good synonyms are there?) I look forward to contributing on this site and hope to meet up with some like minded "creative" individuals.....oh, and the answer is yes - it is my real name....
