Tom is a career photographer with over 35 years of professional photography under his belt. His areas of photographic experience include: photojournalism, portrait, landscape, architectural and sports photography. Tom has been the tradtional photography and digital imaging manager for both Caterpillar Inc. and Time Life. During his twelve years as the Director of the Time Life Photo and Digital Imaging Lab in Manhattan, Tom counts himself as fortunate to haveworked with some of the most inspired photojournalists and fine art photographersof the 20th and 21st century. His proudestmoment was the non-stop photographiccoverage hisstaff was able to provide the world in the hours and days immediately following the911 tragedy. At Time Life, he was responsible for the production of the classic images seen on the pages of Time Warner's 135 weekly and monthly publications includingTime, Life, People, Entertainment Weekly, Fortune and Sports Illustrated.
Today, Tom works in the HP group responsible for our family of professional pigment printers. His duties include introducing professional photographers, digital labs and graphic artists to the advanced technogolies available in the HP professional printers. His greatest joy at HP is the time he is able to spend with endusers in helping them tobetter understand the technologies of digitalphotography and, ultimately, toexperience the satisfaction of capturing the moment."
