Aloha Mini Album Party Favor

Your guests will have so much fun making these souvenirs - Sue Martin



Make your next luau or pool party fun and personal with these easy to create flip flop mini albums. A quick trip to your local party supply store, and you'll find inexpensive printed flip flops and silk hibiscus flowers. Colored cardstock, plus some fun ribbon will finish off these cute projects. In the photo on the far right, I purchased surfboard photo frames from a Hallmark store, and added photos.

What you need:

1. Printed flip flops
2. Silk hibiscus flowers
3. Contrasting ribbon cut to 9 inch lengths
4. Two sheets of contrasting cardstock (I used purple and green)
5. Craft Glue

Do it yourself:

1. Take several photos of each of the guests
2. Select three photos for each flip flop, and print out wallet sized photos
3. Cut cardstock into 2.25 x 9.75 inches
4. Fold cardstock, accordion style, into three even sections
5. Glue photos onto cardstock
6. Glue top 1/3 of cardstock onto flip flop
7. Glue hibiscus onto flip flop strap
8. Glue ribbon onto back of flip flop and let dry
9. Fold up accordion and tie the ribbon in a bow or, go to step 10
10. Leave accordion strip open and hanging down from the flip flop to display all photos.
