Make a 3-D Origami Finger Puppet

If you need a quick craft project, this one is for you! Just download the pre-printed
origami paper at the HP site and make your own 3-D origami finger puppets! I
love bunnies and since it's Spring, I choose the Bunny Hop puppet but you
can choose from two other patterns: Bear Hug and Puppy Love. Let's get started!

Materials
Origami Paper Template for Bunny (Download PDF)
Scissors
Glue
To see a detail of the folding instructions, visit the 3-D origami finger puppet project
page to download the illustrated instructions.
Step 1: Using your scissors, cut out the printed square of origami paper.

Step 2: With the printed side face down and the bunny's face at
the bottom point, fold top down matching the top point to the
bottom point of the paper.

Step 3: Fold the left and right corners down to match the bottom
point to create a square. Crease the edges.

Step 4: Unfold the origami and place the paper printed side down
with the bunny head point facing towards the top of your work
surface (rather than pointing at you). Fold the top and bottom
points into the middle of the paper.

Step 5: Fold the template in half into a boat shape making sure the bunny's head is facing down on the table.

Step 6: Fold the left and right corners down along the triangle crease.

Step 7: Now fold the left point up in an angle to the left. Do the same for the right point in an angle to the right. These will make up the ears of the bunny.

Step 8: Dab some glue at the ends of the left and right corners. Fold the corners in an angle towards the center of the puppet.

Step 9: Fold over the top center point to crease. Open again and apply a dab of glue. Press and hold for a bit to secure the top.

Optional - trim the ears with scissors to get a nice edge to them. Turn your puppet over and insert your fingers in the bottom opening. Your our Bunny Hop 3-D Origami Finger Puppet is done!
