Poudre River
Just a few miles miles from my house is the frozen Poudre River on New Years day. The shadows make the ice look blue Below is the Poudre Canyon. It is a beautiful drive.
Here is Cameron Pass - it has an elevation of a little over 10,000 ft. This was taken on the onset of a snow storm, and it is a color picture - this is not edited to be black and white or gray scales, its just the grayness of the approaching storm.
Trail Ridge Road - Alpine Vistor Center in the Rocky Mountain National Park. The elevation here is 12,183 ft. Yes the air gets rather thin.
Elk in the Rocky Mountain Nationla Park. This a just a short drive from my home and I love to come up here and do my homework in the great outdoors and peacful surroundings.
