2007.09.26 Joey's Got A Part In The Full Monte!
Well, I took Joey to Rutgers for last night's auditions for The Full Monte. Angelina is Production Manager for the show and she let us know they were looking for a 12 year old boy - they were pondering using a small freshmen but thought they would look for a real kid.
Joey looked at the script on the drive over, not a great way to prep :-) Of course he totally blew them away by knowing about all the scenes they mentioned as the were picking the one for him to read! Once they picked the scenes, they asked if he wanted time to review the scene, of course he said no.
Well they wanted him after the first scene and loved him by the end of the second scene. Angelina and the producer stepped outside, where he apparently said "I love him, I want him in the show!" Angelina kindly set Joe up at this point. They walked back into the room and the Producer asked Joey if he could rap, perhaps Andy M. At which point Joey stood up and went through the rap, which had all of us rolling on the floor. A couple guys who were outside looked in and said "Hey man, that you rappin', that's good". More rolling on the floor....
They cancelled the other kids who were coming in to audition. To celebrate Angelina got Joey some fine college cafeteria food - chick nuggets mixed with mac & cheese, a frosted apple pie and a huge cup of Mountain Dew. Joey was in heaven.
2007.09.27 Ange's Getting Inducted & Marg's Running
This Saturday Angelina gets inducted in the National Society of Collegiate Scholars! This is based on her freshmen year, including the two months she missed due to Vaso Vegal Syncope! Talk about focused.
Angel decided to drop Italian this semester, as did 75% of the class, based on disconnect between expectation and what the professor was doing. Anyway, she was so paranoid about this marking her record. Man, I never thought about the long term impact of a drop or an incomplete (of course the incomplete made for much work my last semester).
Margaret has a major race Friday, I think they'll be 28 D1 schools there, including Army and Navy - whom she really wants to beat. She's disillusioned with the Lafayette athletic program at the moment, but she loves the social life and scholastics - so we'll see. She's open to looking at other schools at the moment. Oh yea, she also mentioned that she might be interested in architecture - one of my early loves that continues to this day.

I created a wonderful Pregnancy Scrapbook for my best friend, documenting the past 9 months but am having an extremely hard time finding a place to print the book. I want to just print the cover I created on a hard cover - but the only places I've contacted want to charge $400+. Any suggestions or another idea how to print this book for the proud parents creatively? THANKS!!!

Hi Dennis:
Thanks for adding a page to our new HP community. I'd recommend adding photos for your family and friends to see, but as this is a G-rated Wiki I'm pretty sure we can't show Joey in "The Fully Monty!" Enjoy! (If you need tips, tricks, etc. on how to add photos, video, and more to your page, be sure to check out the "How to Share" page.) http://expressioncenter.wetpaint.com/page/How+to+Share Take care, Angela LoSasso HP |
