Personalized placemats are awesome for any occasion, but I especially like ones that are customized year after year.
In this Thanksgiving placemat, put photos of things that you're grateful for. Make an annual set of placemats, and let your friends and family take theirs home with them. After several years, they will have a complete setting, chronicaling the past Thanksgivings. Notice how the photos evolve year after year.
In this particular example, I used stock photography purchasepurchased from Snapvillage.com.
I created the layout in PhotoShop Elements, and printed it on 13x19 plain paper. A quick trip to Kinkos, and for $4.00 I had it laminated. This is a super easy project and your guests will look forward to a new one each year.
