Hannah Montana Concert - A Wetpaint WIKI: HP Community

Last week my two girls had the thrill of their young lives. I took them both to their very first concert – Hannah Montana live at the Pepsi Center in Denver, CO. They had a fabulous time and thoroughly enjoyed the Jonas Brothers, and Hannah Montana/Miley Cyrus. And I, well, let’s just say I enjoyed watching them enjoy themselves.

Fortunately, with HP as a sponsor of the tour, the folks at Disney allowed cameras at the venue – something you don’t often see at concerts. Usually people have to sneak cameras into a concert if they want to take pictures. In fact, I remember many years ago I went to a concert – the artist will remain nameless – and she told someone in the audience to stop taking her photograph because her face was her property, and if they wanted a snapshot, they could pay for it like everyone else. Understandable, but still a little bit harsh.

If you do get an opportunity to go see Hannah this year, feel free to bring along your (non-professional) camera - security will not throw you out. And after you get home from the concert, go to www.disney.com/hannah and upload your photographs to create a Myconcert Memory Book. You can either have it printed and bound for you, or you can print it at home.

And if you weren’t able to get tickets but still love Hannah Montana, you can go to the site as well and create a memory book with the photographs provided – including some cool backstage shots. I’m thinking it would make a nice holiday gift for the Hannah Montana lover in the family!

Oh, and one more thing. Take this tip from someone who knows – if you do take your HP camera to a concert, be sure to put it in “theater” mode, it takes much better pictures! Too bad I didn’t take my own advice…
