Love the Grand Canyon!

Two trees had formed an imaginary heart shape, that I spotted as we drove past the lookout area.. we had not planned to stop as the parking lot was very crowded.. but, when 'mine eyes' see a thought, then I have to own it.. so, we stopped and captured the photo as stealthly as possible.

Have never been there, but have a feel for the place from your photos. Were you using a digital or film camera?
The reason I ask is because I was a long time film user and reluctently went to dig. in a BIG way. I noticed the blue haze in your second shot, and on panorama shots Fuji Pro film and slide seems to have a blue cast, sometimes I get the same effect with my dig. camera. I shoot a Fuji S9000 Pro @ 9 mega pix. The portraits and close up nature shoots are usually pretty good, but the darn menu is the hardest thing to navagate. I plan to up grade to one of the new 12 meg ones coming out soon. I don't know if the new Nikon or Sony would be a good option. I've done a lot of tech. photo work in my job at the TV-FM station where I work. But I really love to get out, travel and shoot senics and nature shots. I like photo shoots with models too.
Happy Shooting,
