Halloween House

Halloween House!

This was a fabulous project that the entire family helped with. It is a kit that I bought from Michael's. It is made from Foam sheets and foam stickers and lot of glitter too. It turned out fabulous. There is also a kit that looks much like a gingerbread house. Very cute, and priced around $20
BOOing

BOOing

BOOing can be anything left as a surprise on a doorstep at Halloween time. I created this ghost very quickly and easily by sketching a ghost shape on a piece of poster board, then outlining and painting a face using my childrens water color paints and of course cutting it out and hole punching twice at the top to run a string of any type through so it can be hung on a door knob or wreath etc... Something like this all by itself or with any type of halloween item ( candy is a great choice! ) and don't forget the BOOing instructions may be left on the neighbor's doorstep of your choice. It is so fun for the little children! They love sneaking these things to their friends and neighbors.
Halloween cards

Halloween Cards

I always take such wonderful pictures at the pumpkin patch every year. When I saw this project on the HP activity center I thought what a wonderful way to share my favorite photo with a few special people. And...I made this card to do double duty for myself by having it be a thank you card as both my daughters just celebrated their birthdays ( the inside can be personalized ). I can't wait to send these out. Printing was a little challenging, but well worth the effort.
Card garland

Card Garland

Whenever there is an occasion when we receive many greeting cards, I love to do this. It is so simple. I use two thumb tacks and some thread. I tack the thread into the corners of the window trim and cut the thread to the desired length and tie it to each tack. Then we have fun adding the new cards to the garland as we receive them. It really looks nice and I have a very uncluttered display of all our cards. My family thought my idea was weird at first, but once they saw all the cards going up, they love it.

My girls loved making the dolls look like themselves. It was quick, easy and lots of fun. Something we will do again and again.

Halloween masks from the Activity Center

Halloween masks

This mask was made using a template from HP's Activity Center. A great 15-minute project!
