Marcy's Tips
How to Create Time for Crafts1. Be organized. I have a stash of craft materials in the shelves of my laundry room, organized by type. So if I have a moment to do a little something, I pull down the bin I need and get going. 2. Think small. With my girls, I do small things that I know we can finish in a half hour or so. Some of our favorites are making bead barrettes and making clothespin fairies and angels. 3. Multitask. Most busy moms I know are good at this one! My computer faces the backyard. We have a nice swing set, a great backyard for them to play in, and I can sit at the computer and keep an eye on them, and be doing my thing. 4. Make doing what you love a priority. Doing the crafts and the photo projects are a priority for me because it’s about our family. I think it keeps our family tighter, keeps our family closer, and it creates memories. 5. Adjust your expectations. Kids always want to help, and it’s a great way for them to learn, too. But they don’t necessarily do it the way I would. I’ve learned to just enjoy what we do together and not be so hung up on making things “perfect.” It’s our time together that makes it perfect. | A great 15-minute project!» Share your tips with Marcy » View Marcy's Craft Gallery |

Good for you Marcy! I really enjoyed watching your video--seeing your daughter carry the paper from the HP printer, to you. Don't you think HP is awesome? I always find the best things when I go to their site. I've found, over the years, the best time saving tip is to stick with HP products. I've tried competitors cheaper: paper, ink and printers--thought I was saving money, I was wrong. I just threw out a (non HP) back up printer. My main printer, a HP 952C deskjet printer is still going strong. It's dependable and the performance beats any competitor. Hope this helps.
