Personalized Bookmarks
A fun and easy way to get your child excited about reading
Personalized bookmarks can be just what a child needs to motivate them to keep reading. This makes an awesome class project, as 14 bookmarks can be printed on each sheet of paper. Add photos to the template and print on heavy weight paper. Take the sheet to Kinkos to have it laminated. Then cut apart the individual bookmarks.
I created the template in Power Point by making a 5.5x1.25 rectangle. I then filled the background with blue and red, with a diagonal blend. Next step was to add text and clipart, followed by a photo of each child. Print, laminate, and cut and voila - 14 cute bookmarks for the kids to enjoy.
If you're interested in using my templates, send me an email and I'll send them to you.

These are really cute! We did photo bookmarks one year for Dr. Seuss's bday celebration in elementary school - took a pic of each kid with their favorite book and printed them up. The librarian laminated all of them for us.
