Long before my first child was born, I was already a mother… I was a mother to two “furry” kids – my two cats. I’ve had them for over 10 years and they have been a part of every major milestone of my life. They are truly an integral part of my family. Their names go on Christmas cards and we try to take family photos with them. The emphasis is on “try” since it’s virtually impossible to get a toddler and two cats to cooperate with the self-timer of a camera. Although I give it my best effort to get a family photo with toddler and cats, I typically have better luck taking photos of the cats individually.
Have you noticed that you can get “red eye” on pets when using a flash,flash? too? Well, it’s not really the color red, but it’s the same end result – their eyes end up glowing and bright. Using my HP Photosmart R937, I was able to remove the glowing eyes from my cat’s photo right on the camera without using the PC or any other software. This is done using the Pet-eye fix functionality as part of the HP In-camera Design Gallery. Now, even my cats can have normal looking eyes in their photos.
