Personalize a plain gift bag with a photo of the person giving the present

Last year for Christmas, I had a craft party at my house for the neighborhood kids. As they were making their projects, they all talked about who would be the lucky recipient of their project.

I had purchased several different gift bags in red, green, brown, and white. I took photos of each of the kids and printed them on my Photosmart A717 Compact Photo Printer. The kids cut down the photo to whatever size they wanted, and then glued it onto the bag. I had an assortment of buttons and embellishments, which they had a blast adding to the bag.

These bags can be made for any occasion. It's a fun way to personalize the gift even more.

What you need:
Gift bags
Photos
Embellishments (buttons, ribbons, brads, etc.)
Craft glue

Do it yourself:
Take photo with your digital camera
Print photo and glue to front of bag
Glue embellishments to the bag
Watch the recipient's eyes light up when they receive the personalized gift!
