HP Print Studio Photo Frames

The HP Print Studio just released a new photo printing feature that I think is really easy, fast, and fun to use.

With thePhoto Frames feature, you can upload your own photos into predesigned frames, print, and you'll get a vibrantly themed photo in minutes.

Here's how I did it:
Print Studio Montage Photo Frame I chose the "Foursquare Montage" frame for a quick and unique way to display a collection of favorite travel photos.

The montage template works for an 8x10 printout, but most of the 16 free template frames give you the option of printing on 4x6 or 5x7 photo paper.
Add your own photos Once a template is selected, it's time to upload your personal photos. I keep photos stored on my new HP Media Server, so I just imported the photos directly by selecting "My Computer" and navigating to my photo folder.

But the HP Print Studio also lets you add photos that you have posted in your Snapfish account.

Once you've uploaded your photos, simply drag and drop them into the template.
My completed Montage I built my montage in less than 15 minutes from start to finish.

My big tip for you: Print a test version on plain paper first.

I printed one test page on regular, plain 8.5x11 paper to ensure my printer settings (margins and print quality) were adjusted properly -- I absolutely hate to burn through photo paper and later find out I didn't adjust my settings the way the instructions recommended for best quality.
Finished Montage Here's my finished montage!

The instructions say to trim off the extra 1 inch of white border to take the 8x11 paper down to the 8x10 montage frame. But I like it just the way it is.

Try the HP Print Studio Photo Frames -- it's a creative photo project that's really easy, quick and rewarding.
