Well, it is the beginning of October, and we all know what that means – time to get ready for Halloween. As a non-crafty mom, this is a really difficult time of the year for me. While everyone else is frantically sewing and glue-gunning away, I’m searching around to find an inexpensive, yet creative costume that I can either purchase or put together with my limited skills. To make matters worse, my girls will likely change their minds six times about what they want to be between now and Halloween. Does anyone else have this issue?
At the last minute, a bunch of people from my neighborhood decided to support a local non-profit group by participating in a bowling tournament. Since our bowling wasn’t very good, we decided we should at least look good. In half a day, we went from being a ragtag bunch of neighbors to looking like a real team! ...
