I went on a 415 mile bike ride with my 77 year-old mom last year...
...come see what we experienced
My mom has been riding bicycles since she was in her 50's. She's always wanted one (or all) of her five kids to join her, but with our busy lives, we never had the time or energy.
Last year, I decided I'd join her, and began the preparation by buying a bike (I didn't own one). I trained for six months, and in August we embarked on the ride of a lifetime.
The ride began and ended in Coeur d'Alene, and the scenery along the way was spectacular.

Reflections on the Snake

Pond under the first bridge

Wild huckleberries - not ripe enough to eat

Tall trees along the river

Rock reflection on a river - Day 6

Near Cedar Lake

Bike path near Coeur d'Alene

A beautiful sight - our bikes parked at the finish line
