My scanner is my most powerful tool.. I use my digital camera, but any old camera works if you scan the pictures at the hightest resolution.. then whether you shrink them or enlarge them, the picture will amaze even the most learned photographer.. they will be much clearer.. same is true with digital too, scam at high resolutions.. I used to scan all the old photos and they all looked so much nicer than their originals and all were able to be printed at any size, I needed.. use the scanner for your old pictures, it is a treasure untouched by many new digital users.
