Valentine's Day Wine Wrap

It's a wrap.

We have a tradition with our parents. Every Valentine's Day we exchange a bottle of wine that we've enjoyed during the past year.

Usually, we just hand over the bottle with the kids Valentine's cards. Now that I have a color inkjet printer, I thought I would do something a bit more creative.

This was a really simple project.

I set up a template in a word processing program. The top part of the wrap was 5.5 inches across, the main part was 10.5 inches across. I choose red, for Valentine's Day and a complementing font color.Then I simply wrote my message.

I printed on quality inkjet paper - don't use anything too thick or stiff or it won't wrap properly. I cut the design out and used scotch tape to secure the ends together as I fit it on the bottle.

It's pretty fun. Now that I have the template, I think I'll use this whenever we gift a bottle of wine - housewarmings, birthdays, father's day. It's completely customizable.
