I went to Flickr the other day and a statistic caught my eye. There were about 4,000 photos that had been uploaded in the last minute. Think about that for a moment. While I don’t know if that rate holds true throughout the day, if it does, it adds up to 240,000 photos an hour, 2.8 million photos a day and millions upon millions a year. It’s astounding.

What is even more fascinating to me is that for every photo there is a story behind it. I often wonder who the person is that took the photo. What is their life like? Where do they live? What are their beliefs? What are their hopes and dreams? What was going through their mind when this photo was taken? Every day there are an uncountable number of stories that happen in our collective lives. It is only through photography that we can indelibly capture these moments and stories -- not only for ourselves, but for family, friends and strangers alike. I believe that there is comfort in telling your story through photography and in seeing and hearing the stories of others. In an increasingly digital world, it’s easier to disengage from humanity than ever before.But, photography brings us back together and reminds us that behind every digital bit and byte there is a person, a moment, or a set of experiences that can be shared with others.

This blog is for the people of HP to share their stories and the knowledge and experience behind their passion for digital photography. These may be their personal stories or the stories behind the scenes of what they do at HP to help others enjoy digital photography. And as we share our stories, we hope to hear yours as well.

We hope to help you learn from our experiences, and we want to learn from yours.

We hope to inspire you, and we hope to be inspired by you.

But mostly, we just want to talk with you. Each day we hope to hear a little about what you are doing with photography and what it reveals about you and your life.

I was at Preclick site and they were annoucing their new plug in, Preclick IPM .
Paraphrasing this. That is better than HP Video Cameras.
What do you think? And what do most HP Community use?
