Xtra Hands: For Practice

This is a template page

Use this template when you want to use photos and text to tell your story. Click EasyEdit, then highlight this text with your cursor and type over it with your own words: You can write as much as you want!

This sample photo area to the left is easy to replace with one of your own pictures. Here's how:
Click the EasyEdit button, at the top of the page. That will put the Wiki into page edit mode.
Then click on the "your picture here" image at left and hit "delete." Then click the "Photo" button in the Easy Edit toolbar at the top of the page (the photo button is between the "Suggest Links" and the "Table" buttons.

For practice purposes, try inserting an image that's already been loaded onto the Wiki by choosing a photo from the "photo gallery" -- those are the images you see in the box that loads after selecting "photo" in the Easy Edit toolbar. You can also select "Upload from your computer" to select a photo from your own PC. You can also select " Search Yahoo images" if you have photos stored there.It's that easy.

The text can be wrapped around your image, or you can have the text start below the photo. You can also move the photo to the right side of the page. See your choices for photo and text placement by clickin on the photo with your mouse and then clicking "image" on the toolbar.

You can also change the size of your photo by clicking on it once to highlight it, then by clicking the "plus" or "minus" sign in the "Edit Image" toolbox. When you're all done, click on the "Save" button to save your page.

You can hit "Save" and then come back later to practice some more. Just hit the "Easy Edit" button again to make more changes.
