I find that going for a walk helps; stepping away from a project and getting some fresh air enables me think about it in a new way. By the time I get back home, I'm usually ready to try to tackle the project from a different angle.

I break my projects down into smaller steps that I can do. That way I see progress, and don't feel so overwhelmed. I also look at magazines and art books at the library for inspiration.
