I make a monthly calendar with pictures on top and the month on the bottom, so it's 2 sided. I went to get it binded and while I waited I looked at Staples calendars(to be printed). I just loved the weight and look of the paper they use. They wouldn't tell me anything about it. I have always used 67lb card stock which isn't very good for picture quality but the ink doesn't show thru from side to side. Now I want to find the right kind of paper or better paper to use to make my calendars better.

Wow! We have Eddie's twin. Even down to the black spots on the nose. Same size and everything. We "liberated" our cat Oscar from a terribly abusive home when he was a kitten. He is about 4 now. There is nothing like a loyal friend. Sorry Eddie is no longer with you.

Please help me! I am overwhelmed. My firstborn son is graduating from High School in 3 weeks and I decided I would make him a lifetime scrapbook as a gift. I have the photos organised, book bought and lots of supplies but I don't know how/where to start. I found this site while googling for ideas. I want to write small entries for the pages but do I write the text then organise the photos around it or do I stick the photos first and put text where/if there is room? Thanks :)

Donna and Razzell: Thanks for your feedback. As the HP Wiki Manager, I didn't send an email inviting members to watch or add a Hulu video. I didn't receive an email invitation of this kind either. Do you mind sharing a bit more information, e.g., who sent you the email, the date, etc.? Apologies for any inconvenience this may have caused you. BTW: On the HP Wiki, some pages are locked by the users who create them. Many HP pages are locked to ensure product and offer claims remain true to the letter; however, most pages in the HP Wiki are not locked.. At any time, members may add a new page (such as creating your own Member Page) in the HP Wiki to share a video, or they may edit a Gallery page to share. For tips on how to add a page or edit an unlocked page, please visit this page: http://expressioncenter.wetpaint.com/page/TipsI look forward to your feedback!

Hi - I am brand new to this site with this thread. I am interested in knowing how to shadow out a backround while hi-lighting the subject (mostly my grandchildren) in creating my photos for my scrapping. I don't know if I need additional software or can use what I have. I appreciate anyones help & suggestions. Thanks in advance.

First, we need to know what you have-what programs that you're using- Also it would help to know what type of PC or laptop that you have and the operating system mogzilla, vista, firefox-what ever. do you have software with your camera- I just bought a Nikon Kool Pic yesterday, I'll be seeing how it works. I'm not sure what you mean by shadow out- Do you mean to turn it into a solid dark color to contrast with your subject. It would also help to know what camera system that you're working with-brand-model-year, etc. can you do editing on your camera before you down load & what do you download to. This will help you in getting advice from people familiar with your system.

I can print on cotton fabric mounted on freezer paper in a breeze, but it does not come out permanent and washes off easily. This is a real problem for me, does anyone know of how to make it permanent - especially after it has been printed.

I also have printed on fabric using freezer paper but you need to prepare the fabric first. I have used several products. Photo Magic from Quilter's Rule International e-mail quilter@setnet.net or web site, www.quiltersrule.com. Another product is Bubble Jet set 2000, my bottle says, e-mail... neckties@i1net... but I have had the bottle for a long time, as you can reuse it. Good luck!

I was looking for things to do since i was interested in taking photos but didn't know what to do with them after I had them. I am pretty much home bound with uncontrollable epilepsy so wanted to do something to keep me from going crazy. What a great idea you have. I suppose you get the adhesive magnetic sheets at any craft store? Thanks so much for the idea.
