I like to cut out magazines that inspire a fun saying, quote or title. I create a magazine album with a theme for example, food, fashion, girls, black & white, etc. I then use the quotes from Dove Chocolates, cut out sayings and inspirational thoughts, or type up my own to add to the book. When it is done, I enjoy displaying it on my coffee table. Note: use glue sticks so your pages don't bubble with the moisture. Enjoy!

Anything is possible if you take the time and have a creative virus flowing through your vains - or not, as some would think haha. Before you utilize all the tools and take some valuable time out of your day - make sure you have the Artist's consent and have a feel for what it is they represent and want to portray. Just like MySpace - don't upload anything you don't want your future boss to see!

Made the mistake of trying refill carts from my local Walgreens and immediately realized they weren't going to work for me and returned them. I installed new genuine HP carts, but ever since I have experienced a significantly slower response time between sending print command and actual start of printing by the 7960. I've tried a complete reinstallation, but still have the problem. Any ideas on how to correct will be much appreciated.

I checked with our team of experts, and they do have some recommendations for your Photosmart 7960 -- and this might help other folks as well. So please bear with me as I try to explain:
First, the slower printing time may be related to what you're printing -- photos, PDFs, and other intricate documents just by the nature of their content are more complex to print than a text-only document.
Secondly, your driver may be out of date, another setting on your computer may need to be optimized for your printing needs, or perhaps the connection between your PC and the 7960 itself may need to be checked.
We want to help you diagnose and resolve the problem as soon as possible, so please check out the following support pages and see if this can get you going in the right direction: Visit HP.com's support area, for info on how to correct a slow responding printer http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?dlc=&lc=en&product=59983&cc=us&docname=bud03409
Another good resource our team found was the following user forum with suggested fixes: http://www.tek-tips.com/viewthread.cfm?qid=1458802&page=1
We hope this helps you! Please let us know how it turns out.

Thanks PC! I have started a website www.craftersgogreen.com that has articles, links and projects all with a green core. I am having some technical issues with the site right now so the shopping cart is not working but; if you want some of the instruction pdf files you can email me and I will sned them out. Ever since the first Earth Day I have been an avid environmentalist and having small grandkids has spurned me on to encourage and help others make green and safe toys. I would love for anyone who wants information to visit and those that have information to post. Thank you and Happy Earth Day!

I am having difficulty printing a correct sized and centered digital photo from my MacBook Pro i-photo library on a 5.5 in by 4.25 in feathered edge greeting card using HP OfficeJetpro L7580 all in one printer. Despite setting the correct photo measurements during print setup, I either get an 8.5 x5.5 full page photo that covers both back and front of the card or I get a 6.75 in x 4.5 in non centered photo that overlaps on to the back of my greeting card. Any suggestions or advice? Bob

Did you stumble upon it, was it recommended by a friend or co-worker. I'm just curious. It was recommended to me by a co-worker who asked me to post some of my crafty projects that she's seen and thought others would enjoy them.

I was at Preclick site and they were annoucing their new plug in, Preclick IPM . Paraphrasing this. That is better than HP Video Cameras. What do you think? And what do most HP Community use? Any comments are appreciated. Jane PS: you may e-mail at:ladybirdinsyr@verizon.net

Looks like a useful tool, but I'd recommend printing on plain paper. Why spend the $$ on good stuff for medical records. Also, print a second (or third) copy and send it to a relative or two. If you happen to be out and about in a foreign country and need medical help, a quick call to a trusted relative, could be your saving grace.

I am watching the NCAA final four and a HP ad has appeared with what apparently is a designer by the name of Gwen Stefani. I am not apologetic at all to say I doubt Bill Hewlitt or David Packard would ever consider selling their products with sex. I have two young men ages 13 and almost 15 and how am I to teach them women are equals when HP portrays such a shallow image of the opposite sex? It is a sad devolution in our society when a company such as HP goes to this depth of deprivation to sell products. Maybe HP ought to get away from the allure of a lithe blonde and maybe some geek humor would make a better selling point.

Hello norcalguy101: Again, I appreciate that you've taken the time to share your opinion. I've responded to it, I've respected it, and I've sent it to our public relations department -- hardly the actions of a detractor. I hope we can respectfully agree to disagree re: individual interpretation. Regardless, I invite you to return to the HP Community Wiki and join our 1,800 members in creative collaboration. Otherwise, good wishes to you.

I'm really excited to see the discussions and all the recent crafts, photos, and tips that have been posted by community members. Your genuine generosity of spirit and creativity is what gives life to the HP Community Wiki. As the community manager, I thank you from the bottom of my heart. But I want to do more than thank you, I want to help make the community better.
So here's my question of the week: How can we improve the HP Community Wiki?
I'm intentionally asking an open-ended question because I want your honest opinion and suggestions-- even if they sting! Whether you want us to provide more video tutorials, fewer categories, more craft and printing tips, or simply help you learn how to use this wiki, I want to know about it.
I look forward to seeing your replies!

I love the way cmdtracy changed the background color for her photos and text. She did it by inserting a table. This is very useful when you don't want a black background, or just want to spice up your page.

Normally, I laminate all of my placemats, and I typically print them on plain paper or cardstock. I liked the texture of the canvas because it looked classier than something laminated, so I just sealed it with Krylon. Plus, I knew they'd only be used once.
